hmm tips lemme think... being honest i barely know much about coding myself but i'll go over a few of the things i know
Github READMEs can use many different coding languages together all at once, but the main ones are Markdown and HTML, you can go over all the tags on those linked sites
I like to use the <table> tag combined with the align attribute to divide up sections.
For example the section with all my music and games i have set to align="right" at the top of my info section so all other tables i make will be at the left.
You can use the align attribute on most tags, and it will prioritize tags with alignment over ones without.
For my blinkies dropdown i used the <details> tag, which you can title with a <summary> as well, very useful if things need to be spoilered.
Everything i used that wasn't my own coding is at the bottom of my page, i really like the button maker as you can tell.
